ENERGY-SAVING SERVICES FOR MULTIFAMILY TENANTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS
Duquesne Light Co. offers residential programs that benefit customers living in a multifamily property. If you are a tenant or property manager, you could qualify to participate in the Residential Energy Efficiency Program (“REEP”) or the Low-Income Energy Efficiency Program (“LIEEP”). These programs work as a "one-stop shop" for occupants or property owners to achieve great energy efficiency savings for those that participate with a no-cost Home Audit.
LIEEP & REEP MULTIFAMILY AUDIT PROGRAMS
Duquesne Light Co. provides resources and incentives to help multifamily tenants and property owners reduce energy costs and improve building comfort. Incentives are available through an energy audit performed by an energy professional:
- Installation of LED lighting, nightlights, advanced power strips, and low flow aerators/showerheads, if electric hot water heat is present.
- Energy education and tips
- Whole-home assessment
- DLC offers additional rebates for the purchase of ENERGY STAR certified products.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
Energy-efficient building improvements are a smart way for tenants and property owners to provide:
- Better year-round comfort
- Fewer maintenance issues and associated costs
- Lower operating and energy costs
- Greater tenant satisfaction and lower turnover rates for property owners
If you would like to talk to someone about these opportunities, or to schedule a comprehensive energy audit, please call us at 866-787-5237 or email us at [email protected].
